DON T PAVILION ADA IMPROVEMENTS
LA PAZ COUNTY PARK

The County of La Paz has been awarded a federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) from the State of Arizona Department of Housing (ADOH) and will accept bids from qualified firms or individuals with a minimum of a B-2 commercial license as registered with the Arizona Registrar of Contractors, and registered with SAM.gov to perform the following services: Rehabilitation of current restrooms to comply with current ADA requirements including; new stalls, handicapped toilets, grab bars, handicapped sinks, paper dispensers, and entry doors. If funding allows project to include the replacement of two air conditioning units and patching of the roof.

The County will conduct a mandatory pre-bid conference and site inspection on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interested bidders should meet at the La Paz County Park office, 7350 Riverside Drive, Parker, AZ.
Sealed bids will be received in the office of the Clerk of the Board, 1108 S Joshua Avenue, until 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, April 30, 2025. The bid will be opened at 1:00 PM on the same day.

Available to rent for your big special occasions, the Don T. Pavilion in the La Paz County Park can host events up to 300 people with a full kitchen, riverside views, wi-fi, restrooms and plenty of tables and chairs!

Located on Plomosa Road off of Highway 72, this park offers RV sites with utilities, Equestrian Camping, Dry Camping, a Putting Green, a Ballfield and Playground, basketball court and plenty of scenic desert hiking!
Our newest park is located in Wenden AZ. It offers an all-new playground, basketball court, and plenty of room for large picnics and lots of fun!
Located in Ehrenberg AZ, this Day Use park is open sunrise to sunset. It offers a playground, a walking trail, a picnic area and a basketball court.
Located on Highway 72 outside of Bouse AZ, this shooting range has rifle and pistol ranges, as well as archery targets. A Camp Host is on duty during the Winter months. This is a favorite for all of our local law enforcement officials.

Located on Riverside Drive just one mile from the La Paz County Park, this Day Use park is open from sunrise to sunset. Plenty of waterfront recreation can be had here with our boat ramp, riverside picnic tables, and our large dog run!

A desert playground in the Great Southwest!
Nestled along the Colorado River, La Paz County offers many recreational areas for your enjoyment. Our many facilities offer camping, RV'ing, walking, swimming, boating, tennis, basketball, golfing, picnicking, water sports, volleyball, softball and hiking.
We have a park or recreation area serving nearly every community in La Paz County, so if outdoor fun is your interest, there will always be something to do!
Our parks are Reservation based and First-Come, First-Served. We are taking reservations at this time
for individual stays, RV clubs, and large groups for La Paz County Park; all other parks are first-come, first-served.
No Public Dumps at this time.
