La Paz County Park Rules

CHECK IN – Check-in time is 1pm for RV sites. If you arrive and have not checked in within 1 day, we will charge the card we have on file. If you arrive after hours and do not have a reservation, please pay for your night with us at the self-pay station and head to dry camping. We are reservation based so please do not go into any empty sites.

 CHECK OUT – Check-out time is 11am for RV sites. Depending on reservations for incoming guests, you may be able to pre-arrange a late check-out .If you have not made check-out arrangements and do not vacate by the check-out time, you will be charged an additional day. If your failure to vacate your site interferes with the check-in time of another guest at the site, you will be charged a $50 penalty.

 QUIET HOURS – WINTER 10pm to 7am. SUMMER 11pm to 7am. Please do not use generators during these hours and please do not expose your neighbors to excessive noise at any time.

 FIREARMS /FIREWORKS – For your safety, no firearms, lethal weapons, or fireworks are permitted on park property at any time. There is zero tolerance for fireworks in this park, you will be asked to leave.

 FIREPITS –They must be self-contained and have screens. NO FIRES ON THE BEACH!

 BEACHES – Do not leave canopies ,chairs or other items overnight on the beach. ABSOLUTLY NO GLASS BOTTLES ON THE BEACH… Boats and personal watercrafts must be anchored out in the water not tied to the beach or trees.

 RV REQUIREMENTS – All RVs must be owner occupied, RVIA approved, clean and well maintained. Registration and Tags must be up to date. No RVs older than 15 years unless approved by management. Please call for information about other rig types (tents, truck campers and/or conversion vans). If your rig has broken windows, cardboard or wood as windows, missing panels, homemade or not registered as a RV you will not be able to stay with us. If you do not  disclose any of this and you show up, not to park standards, you will be asked to leave. YOU CAN NOT CAMP IN VEHICLES

 RV SITES – Most sites offer 30- or 50-amp electrical service, and water. Cable TV and Internet services are available but not guaranteed . RV’s must be parked in the appropriate area of your site and parked in the correct direction unless prior arrangements have been made with the office. Do not block or park in other sites. The concrete pad is not a parking area. Do not remove picnic tables from other sites. You may have a maximum of one (1) RV, two vehicles, one boat or two personal watercraft per site. If it does not fit in with your site, you will be charged accordingly. Sites may not be sublet. Site Rental Agreements are not transferable and do not accompany the sale of RV’s. We expect you to keep your site clean and neat. We are not responsible for any damage to your RV due to circumstances out of our control.

 ELECTRIC – Electric is metered on reservations 2 nights or more in the Summer and 4 nights or more in the Winter. We do not allow guests to plug into empty sites electrical pedestals.

 TRASH – Please use plastic garbage bags with ties to eliminate odors and insects. Trash must be removed from the site and taken to the designated locations. We do not provide disposal receptacles for oversized or hazardous items. If you block the dumpsters and they cannot pick up, you will be fined.

  VISITORS – If you entertain visitors at the park, you are responsible for their conduct while on the park premises and are responsible for any damage incurred by them. You must register guests with our office. Please keep in mind that extra people do cost extra. Any guest not adhering to this visitor’s policy will lose all visitor privileges within the park.

 GOLF CARTS, UTV & ATV’S – Motorized vehicles may be used within the park as transportation only – no joy riding. All operators of motorized vehicles must be at least 16 years of age and hold a valid driver’s license.

 Our roadways are county roadways, and you are subject to all State Laws.

 Maximum of two vehicles on your site at any time. Vehicles and watercrafts must fit in your space, as there is no parking on the street. Major repairs of any vehicle, changing of oil, flushing of radiators, or cleaning engines or parts may not be done in the park. Please keep vehicle noise at a minimum during quiet hours. Unauthorized vehicles, and vehicles parked in unauthorized areas are subject to towing and storage at the owner’s expense. We have overflow parking access if needed, contact Camp Host.

 RAMADAS – Please do not deface cabanas in any way, do not place nails in structure or anything that could damage structure. Ramadas do not fall under the resident day use. If a resident would like to rent a Ramada, they must pay for it and the site rental rules apply. Management reserves the right to control the use of any facility as to hours, purpose, and conduct. Management must approve scheduling events for park guests or any group. Do not park on the concrete slab.

 RESTROOMS AND SHOWERS – Restrooms are open to registered guests in the park. Let us know if they require attention. Please do not hand out the bathroom codes.

 

RESERVATIONS are required and it is best to make them in advance. You may request a specific site; however, we guarantee only that your reservation will be placed within a particular site type. A reservation deposit fee is required at the time the reservation is made. Your advance deposit will be refunded only if the La Paz County Park  is notified of your cancellation 30 days or more prior to your scheduled arrival date, minus a $10.00 processing fee. If you your deposit before Dec 18, 2023, on our ASTRA system you will get a RESERVATION CREDIT to use at a later date. All refunds must be made with the same payment method in which the initial payment was made. If it was made with a card it would have to go on the same card or refund with Reservation Credit.

  PAYMENTS are due on the date you checked in each month. Your credit card on file will be charged unless prior arrangements are made. Your deposit will be held and applied to your last month’s rent. Should you decide to depart early you will be charged accordingly you no longer get the monthly rate. There are No Refunds for departing early. If you book a season and leave more than a few days early you will forfeit your deposit. You only get  monthly rates if you are on a site monthly. If you are there for 1 month and 7 days, you get charged : 1 month and 1 week.

Mail – Receiving mail to the park is a curtesy. Please make sure it has the reservation holders’ name on it, its current site and La Paz County Park. The system does not allow us to look up all the occupants on a site. We are not responsible for mail being returned for lack of information on packages.

 
PET POLICY – DOGS MUST BE ON A LEASH AT ALL TIMES

No Barking dogs will be tolerated at any time.
You MUST clean up after your pet.
Do not leave dogs unattended outside your RV.
All complaints will be confirmed and addressed by the Camp Host Office.
Dogs are permitted on the beach but must be always supervised and on a physical leash.

 The park management reserves the right to amend, revise and add to the Policy at any time.

 FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THESE POLICIES MAY RESULT IN YOU BEING ASKED BY MANAGEMENT TO LEAVE THE PARK WITH NO REFUND INTENDED AND FUTURE RESERVATIONS BEING CANCELLED
